The five-digit totalizing counter D122.Z is used to display processes in which measured values from intrinsically safe 4-20 mA circuits in hazardous areas are added up over time.

Measures the flowing current, adds the values already measured, scales the total value for display in a physical unit and finally shows the result on the LC display.

Limit value message can alternatively be made dependent on the total value or the current measured value
